1. Our Philosophy

At sidiqprihatno.com, your data belongs to you. We build tools to enhance productivity, not to harvest personal information. Our products are designed with a Local-First approach — everything stays on your device.

2. Data Collection & Storage

  • Zero Tracking: We do not collect, read, or transmit your browsing history or the content you create.
  • Local & Profile Storage: All preferences and user-generated content are stored locally on your device or synchronized across your profile using chrome.storage.local, chrome.storage.sync, or native local storage.
  • No External Servers (Creative Content): While your creative content stays local, the extension communicates externally with api.polar.sh strictly for license activation and with Google Translate (translate.googleapis.com) on-demand when you explicitly use the HUD Translate tool (no PII or device identifiers are attached to translation requests).
  • Web-Accessible Resources: Our browser extensions expose only static assets (such as icon .png files) as web-accessible resources. These files contain no personal data and cannot be used to track you or read your content.

3. Payments & Licensing

We use Polar.sh as our Merchant of Record.

  • We do not store or process your credit card information.
  • External communication occurs only during license verification. We use your License Key and a randomly generated 16-character Device ID to activate your subscription through the Polar.sh API. This Device ID is unique to your browser installation and cannot be used to identify you personally.
  • Trial Period: To determine when to display the activation prompt, a first-use timestamp is stored locally on your device. This data never leaves your device.

4. Product-Specific Permissions

App Permissions Purpose Data Stored
PencilKit & VisualKit activeTab, scripting, storage, clipboardRead, clipboardWrite, web_accessible_resources To inject drawing, UI inspection, and editing tools on your active tab and save tool preferences. Local-only settings, licensing, and UI preferences.
DailyBattery ServiceManagement, NSScreen, NSWorkspace, NSSound Launch at Login, window positioning, sleep/wake detection, Pomodoro sounds. Time blocks & settings via UserDefaults (on-device only).

5. Permission Transparency (PencilKit & VisualKit)

  • activeTab & scripting: Used exclusively to render the drawing canvas, inspection tools, or live editor on the page you are currently viewing. Our extensions cannot see your activity on other tabs.
  • clipboardRead: Used only when you choose to import, upload, or replace images or SVG code directly from your system clipboard.
  • clipboardWrite: Used only when you choose to "Copy to Clipboard" your drawings, UI snapshots, or CSS styles.
  • storage: Saves your tool preferences, licensing configurations, and local edits so they are preserved across sessions and synced under your profile.
  • web_accessible_resources: We serve static assets (such as extension icons) via Dynamic URLs. This advanced privacy feature prevents websites from tracking you or seeing which extensions you use.

6. Permission Transparency (DailyBattery)

  • Launch at Login (ServiceManagement) — Registers or unregisters auto-start at macOS login, based on a user-facing toggle in Settings. Controlled entirely by you; no personal data involved.
  • Screen Geometry (NSScreen) — Reads screen boundaries to position and resize the battery window and break overlay correctly. No screenshots, no screen recording — only frame dimensions are used.
  • Sleep / Wake Detection (NSWorkspace) — Listens for the macOS wake notification to refresh the Pomodoro timer when your Mac wakes from sleep. No user activity is read or logged.
  • System Sounds (NSSound) — Plays built-in macOS sounds (“Glass”, “Hero”) at the start and end of Pomodoro phases. No microphone access; only Apple's native sounds are used.
  • Not Requested: DailyBattery does not request Camera, Microphone, Location, Contacts, Notifications, Accessibility, iCloud, Health, or Face ID access.

7. Children's Privacy

Since we collect zero personal data, our apps are safe for users of all ages.
